Radiators for New Energy Heavy-Duty Trucks

Radiators are core thermal management components for battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks, responsible for stable cooling of power batteries, drive motors, motor controllers and fuel cell stacks. They directly determine vehicle safety, endurance and service life under heavy-load and long-haul working conditions.

Unlike traditional diesel truck radiators, new energy heavy-duty radiators adopt an integrated multi-circuit cooling design to handle different heat sources with precise temperature control. Most are built with high-strength aluminum alloy cores, featuring louvered fins and multi-port flat tubes for higher heat exchange efficiency, lighter weight and better corrosion resistance.

These radiators support high-flow coolant circulation and match intelligent electronic fans and heat pumps. They maintain optimal working temperatures ranging from 20°C to 45°C for batteries and key powertrain parts, effectively avoiding overheating, low-temperature performance loss and thermal runaway risks.

With robust structural design, they adapt to harsh environments such as mines, construction sites and extreme cold/heat areas. Modular structure simplifies maintenance and replacement, reducing vehicle downtime.

As new energy commercial vehicles evolve, radiators are developing toward higher efficiency, integration and intelligence, becoming essential to enhance energy efficiency and extend vehicle lifespan.
